Passionate about helping companies and communities create healthier lives using information technology, Cristine Kao has more than 20 years of experience in the health sector. Cristine is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at ABC Fitness Solutions. Prior to ABC Fitness Solutions, Cristine has held sales, operations, and marketing positions at Carestream Health, Phreesia, and GE Healthcare where she helped launch award-winning products, create global brands, and open new and niche markets. Cristine has a bachelor’s degree in Science and Business with a Biochemistry option from the University of Waterloo. She is also an alumna of the Harvard Business School. On today’s episode of Destination CMO Cristine talks about positioning marketing as a growth catalyst rather than a cost center, and how this perspective shift can help marketing leaders demonstrate their value within the company. She also talks about the importance of data, especially in PE SaaS.
